** Blue Sky Carts LLC offers street legal cart rentals for visitors and residents. All carts are licensed in the State of Florida as low speed vehicles to be known as “LSV”.
Renter is responsible for ALL liability and damages that may result while operating Blue Sky Carts Street legal golf carts, also known as a Low-Speed Vehicle “LSV” as defined under the Florida Statute Chapter 320.01. The valid and collectible Liability Insurance and PIP of any authorized rental driver is primary for the limits of liability and personal injury protection coverage required by SS.324.021 and 627.736, Florida Statutes.
Blue Sky Carts LLC does not operate out of a brick and mortar or retail business location. We provide concierge delivery and pickup service to specified location agreed upon during booking.
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the vehicle before operating.
• Cart should be safely stored and secured
• Renter is responsible for missing or damaged carts
• Cart must be returned in the same condition as when the rental was initiated
• Cart is for pavement use only
Any excessive mud, sand or other damaging debris observed on the cart and cart undercarriage upon final inspection may result in an additional minimum fee of $150 for misuse and replacement of damaged parts.
Please do not place and/or strap down any personal items on the cart roof such as beach chairs, coolers, and boards etc. Any damage to the roof will result in additional charges.
Rear seat of cart folds down into a utility shelf for your convenience.
Rental requirements for LSV carts
• Drivers must be 21 years or older to Rent and Drive.
• All passengers must always wear seatbelts.
• All drivers must be on contract and have a valid driver's license.
• You must have Proof of valid, full coverage automobile insurance.
• You must have a major credit card (NOT debit card) with the same name as the renter for payment.
• A Reservation deposit is required on all reservations.
The renter must return the golf cart damage-free and in the same condition that it was dropped off.
The golf cart is inspected after renter’s return and the renter agrees to pay any additional charges and all damages associated with their rental.
Under FLORIDA law, golf carts MAY NOT BE OPERATED:
• On Roads Marked 35 mph +
• By an unlicensed driver
• On any sidewalk
LSV carts are allowed on secondary roads with a posted speed limit of 35mph or less and can cross primary roads. All state traffic laws must be obeyed, and the seating capacity of the golf cart cannot be exceeded. Golf carts being operated in violation of state law are subject to being towed at lessee's expense.
**Lessee assumes all responsibility liability during the term of the agreement. **
